Emerson Lake and Palmer - Trilogy

Emerson Lake and Palmer - Trilogy

Emerson Lake And Palmer was progressive rock's first supergroup, and progressive they were indeed. Never bowing down to any of the trends of the day, the threesome always kept up a sound all their own, one that was sometimes closer to progressive classical music than mainstream pop-rock. The results of their musical efforts were astonishing, more often than not. With the keyboard mastery of former Nice member Keith Emerson, the awesome bass of vocals of the former King Crimson frontman Greg Lake, and the backing percussion of former Crazy World Of Arthur Brown and Atomic Rooster drummer Carl Palmer, the band rocked the world in their own way. In 1972 the trio released its third album, Trilogy.
